Signing up

Its Easy to sign up to visitabout. All you need is a valid email address ( This is so we can send you a password, you can change the password once logged in ) and your name or nickname.

Creating your page

Once you have signed up you can start creating your page. Describe your website in as much detail as possible as this will enable users to see what you have to offer, such as information, products or services.

Try to write at least 150 - 300 words, not 5-10!

The better the description about your website the more visitors.

Typing your web address

A website has to be in this format on visitabout.com : http://www.yourwebsitehere.com and not  http://yourwebsitehere.com or www.yourwebsitehere.com.

Choosing keywords

You can choose up to 5 keywords for the page you created and change them anytime you want, such as if there's to much competition for a particular keyword or you have a new product.

Whatever keyword(s) you choose your page will come up in the search results for that particular keyword e.g...

You have a website that sells books and you choose the keywords book, books, buy books, cheep books. If a user conducts a search on books, all the websites including your own that have chosen the keyword books will be shown in the search results. If a user conducts a search on new books your website will not come up in the search results as this keyword wasn't chosen.  

The keywords you choose don't have to be mentioned in the page you created but they do have to be relevant to you website.

You can find out if there's a lot of competition on particular keywords by typing the keyword in the search box on the top of the page.

The link codes

Once you have created and submitted your page there will be a code on the bottom of the page you created that users and yourself  can copy to add to other websites such as forums or blogs.

If someone clicks the link you will gain a higher rank on visitabout for the keywords you chosen.

You will also gain a higher rank for clicks in the search results and recently added on the main page.
